One Day That Changes the Direction
You’re tired of waiting for the “right” couple, the “right” location, or the perfect moment to shift your work.
You may be early in your career, but you’ve realized traditional weddings aren’t the path you want to build on.
Your portfolio doesn’t yet reflect the destinations, landscapes, or couples you actually want to book.
You don’t want another styled shoot that feels rushed, chaotic, or disconnected from your own way of seeing.
Some paths only make sense once you’re walking them. What looks like a detour from the outside is often the most direct way forward. A season of intentional practice, new environments, and slowing down enough to let your work catch up to your vision.
A sudden plunge into an alpine lake—sharp air, racing hearts, the day sealed in goosebumps.
Coffee sipped beneath the sheets. Light creeping in. Vows written separately in stillness before the adventure starts.
Time together, unhurried. A quiet evening outside the park–wrapped in blankets, the fire crackling nearby. No timeline yet. Just presence.
Steam rising as they soak in natural hot springs, the nerves gone, the day unfolding naturally.
Helping each other get dressed by lantern light at the trailhead while the world wakes up around you.
And when the light fades—dancing under the stars. A first dance beneath the Milky Way, surrounded by one of the darkest skies in the country.

I didn’t build my portfolio by waiting for the right opportunities. I built it by traveling with intention, practicing in new environments, and learning how to slow down and create meaningful work outside of what felt familiar.
I’ve spent years photographing and filming couples in both local and destination settings.. I know what it’s like to want destination work before your portfolio fully reflects it — and I also know how important real experience is in closing that gap.
Field & Film content days are designed the way I wish they existed when I was building my own body of work: calm, intentional, and focused on quality over volume. I’ll guide the experience, offer direction when it’s helpful, and create space for you to practice the work you want to be known for.
hi, i'm jessica!
Field & Film content days are intentionally paced and thoughtfully designed. This isn’t a rushed styled shoot or a content grab. Each day is built around real flow, real couples, and space to slow down. So that you’re not competing for angles or leaving with work that doesn’t feel like you. The focus is on experience first, imagery second, and confidence always.
Group sizes are intentionally kept small. Each content day is built around two couples at each location, allowing for more shooting time, natural movement, and a calm, collaborative environment. Limited spots ensure you’re never rushed, crowded, or competing for space–and that there’s room to ask questions and create with intention.
Tickets are non-refundable due to the limited nature of each content day and the planning involved. If you’re unable to attend, you may sell or transfer your ticket to another interested attendee with prior approval. While transfers can’t be guaranteed, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’ll do my best to help where possible.
Yes. Field & Film believes this kind of work is for everyone. When selecting model couples, I’m intentional about prioritizing diversity and representation, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ couples, and, when possible, working with people connected to the place we’re shooting in.
Yes. You’ll be added to a private VIP group chat before the content day, which makes it easy to connect with other attendees, coordinate travel, and ask questions leading up to the event.
Absolutely! If you have a question that isn’t answered here, feel free to reach out before booking. I’m happy to help you decide if this experience is the right fit.
You don’t need to wait for the right moment, or the right opportunity, to show up.
You need space to practice in a new place.
You need real experience.
You need work that reflects where you’re headed.
Field & Film content days are designed for photographers and filmmakers who want to move their portfolio forward with intention–not rush, not noise, not shortcuts.
If this feels like the step you’ve been circling, trust it.
THERE’S A REASON I KEEP COMING BACK
"Field & Film gave me clarity–not just technically, but creatively.
Working with Jessica expanded my understanding of how and why things work, and gave me real skills I actually use on every shoot.
The experience felt calm, supportive, and unhurried. I now trust that I have the tools I need for any situation."
