To me, photography is the most beautiful blend of creativity and connection
I’ve spent years photographing weddings and elopements, learning what it looks like to slow down, pay attention, and let a story unfold instead of forcing it.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped chasing what was loud or impressive and started caring more about what felt honest. Film, motion, and quiet moments pulled me in—not because they were trendy, but because they asked me to slow down.
Field & Film grew from that way of working.
It’s a space built around craft, intention, and helping creatives find their footing without rushing the process–whether that’s through film-forward education, hands-on practice, or immersive experiences in meaningful places.

I went to college for EMT and business marketing–drawn to both service and structure, people and process.
At the time, those two worlds felt separate.
I didn’t realize how much they’d eventually shape the way I work.
Photography and filmmaking entered my life quietly, then completely.
What began as creativity turned into connection, and over time, into a way of working that felt sustainable, honest, and deeply human.
Field & Film Co. exists because of that intersection–between care and craft, intuition and intention, creativity and business.
I never stopped loving the work itself–serving couples, documenting stories, being present in meaningful moments.
But film changed how I showed up for it.
Working with film and Super 8 slowed me down in a way nothing else had. It asked for patience. Attention. Trust. It shifted my focus away from control and performance, and back toward craft and feeling.
Again and again, the same quiet questions came up:
• How do I make work that actually feels like me?
• How do I move toward elopements and destination work without rushing it?
• How do I grow without losing the joy in the process?
What never sat right with me was how often photographers were being handed recycled advice–strategies disconnected from real practice, real pacing, and real, lived-in work.
So Field & Film became a place for something different.
Every experience here is rooted in how I actually work–film-forward, intentional, and grounded in practice. Not theory. Not trends. Just guidance, tools, and shared space designed to help photographers build work that lasts.
